Recently, we’ve received many reports from Insiders that they got the problem with the error code 0x8024ce2b after updating to the new build. This error seems likely to occur often with a graphic driver issue. Not only Intel graphic driver but also both AMD & NVIDIA got the problem.

The reason is because Windows 10 tries to install its own driver, overwritting the current one. This new update is not compatible with the device, then error 0x8024ce2b will be reported.

How to fix the error 0x8024ce2b?

Please follow the instruction below to solve the problem.
1. Download the “Show or hide updates” troubleshooter package (link is given at the end of this post)
This tool will help you to prevent the driver from being reinstalled until a new driver fix is available
2. Go to Device Manager by pressing Windows+X
3. Expand “Display adapters” and right on the “Graphic driver“, uninstall it and then re-install using the package downloaded from your device manufacture
(Just Google for them, use the keyword like this: “Intel/AMD/NVidia/… graphic driver windows 10 download”)
4. Reboot the computer & run it normally

If the above not work, try to update your BIOS to the latest one, this may help.
