Like its predecessor, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 also supports “pinning” the file to the Start menu for quick access. Users can pin folders, the .exe files, and shortcuts to the Start menu. Then navigate to this: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE> SOFTWARE> Microsoft> Windows> CurrentVersion> Policies> Explorer

To continue, navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER> SOFTWARE> Policies> Microsoft > Windows > Explorer, find the folder called “LockedStartLayout“> right and click Delete.

Finally, navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE> SOFTWARE> Policies> Microsoft> Windows> Explorer, find the folder called “LockedStartLayout”> right click and choose Delete.
