Cortana is a new feature that tech giant Microsoft has brought to its latest operating system Windows 10. It is an intelligent personal assistant that can help you do some tasks such as connecting to the internet, setting up reminders/alerts or making travel reservations. In addition, it can help you find things on your PC, track packages, manage your calendar or even tell jokes. However, those are not all things Cortana can do for you. This personal assistant for Windows 10 also helps you send an email with only a few steps. You won’t need to open the Email app or even hit the keyboard.

Users can use Cortana to send an email in Windows 10 very quickly.

Here are 6 easy steps that you can follow to send an email using Windows 10’s new feature Cortana. Let’s check out now!

Step 1: Launch Cortana and then launch Cortana’s specialised notebook by clicking on the Notebook key

Step 2: Choose Settings, select Let Cortana respond to “Hey Cortana” and enable this setting

Step 3: Tap the microphone button inside the search form in the taskbar to activate the mic and then say “Compose an email”

Step 4: Say aloud “I want to send an email to [name of person]” followed by the message for the email. If you want to add multiple recipients, you can simply speak out the names of the recipients.

Step 5: Speak out the title of the email, followed by the message body

Step 6: Cortana then asks if you want to send it, add a subject, or make any changes. If you don’t want to make changes or attach files or add signatures, you can say “Send” and your email will be sent.

That’s it! It is really simple to send an email using Cortana, isn’t it? Hope this work for you. If you have any questions, please feel free to give your comments below.
