Windows 10’s global share of all Web traffic generated by desktop operating systems increased from 0.39 percent in July to 5.21 percent in August.

The new system software’s global share of PCs had just 0.4 percent of the market at the end of July. However, it jumped to 5.21 percent of the desktop OS space in August, followed by Windows 8 and Mac OS X Yosemite. With many smart new and improved features, it’s likely that Windows 10 will grow further and be adapted by more users. Therefore, it’s possible to see the market share Microsoft’s newly launched software increase in the upcoming months.

Meanwhile, Windows 7, which has declined with the release of Windows 10, is still the market leader at 57.7 percent share. It is followed by Windows XP with 12.1 percent and Windows 8.1 with 11.4 % percent.
