After only two weeks since Windows 10 was launched, Microsoft has released out another cumulative update for this OS version. No change log has been made available yet, but these cumulative updates generally include improvements to upgrade the features of Windows 10, not just patch security shortcomings as the last update version.

Cumulative update for Windows 10
Windows 10 Cumulative update

Some users wondered if all the installed software would be loosen when updating new version. Don’t worry because nothing is lost, just some software which hasn’t been updated to Windows 10 cannot be used, so you should usually update your OS.

It can be seen that Windows 10 updates are cumulative. Consequently, this package contains all previously released fixes. If you have previous updates installed, only the new fixes that are contained in this package will be downloaded and installed to your computer.

It seems Microsoft step by step completes the OS by quickly releasing new updates. One question here is if the company will release new updates frequently or it’s just the beginning of a brand-new.

The higher update version will help your OS more stable, higher processing efficiency instead of becoming stagnant and unstable processing, which leads to many unnecessary errors.

You can find the supports to obtain an install the update here, KB3081438, but it provides no further information about what the update contains.
