Solution from Microsoft Support Engineer

I appreciate your interest in Windows 10. I understand you are getting issues with Windows updates.

Have you tried to restart the Windows Update service? The simplest way of doing this is:
• Press Ctrl+ Shift+ Escape for Task Manager to show up.
• Hit the “More details” button.
• Go to the Services tab.
• Look for wuauserv (you can easily do this by hitting W+U twice in a quick succession).
• Right click on the service and hit Restart.
If issue persist you can download the iso and install.
DISCLAIMER: I suggest you to create a backup of all the datas before performing installation from iso
